Madeline Island Chamber Music 2019 Season Ends on a High Note

2019 Fellowship Quartet

The Madeline Island Chamber Music 2019 season was very successful for our students and enjoyable for our audience members. Our summer programs educated 73 talented young musicians from all across the country and around the world. While on the Island, they learned from our 33 faculty members; gave 21 concerts, Master Classes, and other community engagement events; and enjoyed the Island’s beauty. Our eight concerts by professional ensembles-in-residence were the best-attended ever!

As one of our students commented, “Madeline Island Chamber Music is a great festival in a beautiful area. The level of focus on chamber music and being a better musician is exceptional. I left the Island feeling inspired by the tremendous repertoire and outstanding musicians whom I worked alongside.”

Thanks to our outstanding partners at the Madeline Island Museum, Bell Street Gallery, Madeline Island Library, St. John’s United Church of Christ, Bayfield Summer Concerts, Bayfield Presbyterian Church, and Christ Episcopal Church in Bayfield.

We’re looking forward to summer 2020!
